2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons chopped ginger
4 tablespoons chopped garlic
6 onions, chopped
4 green chillies chopped
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons coriander powder
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
4 tomatoes, chopped
4 tablespoons Rajma masala powder/ Chicken Masala
Clean the Rajma and soak it in water for 10 hours/ over night.
Add salt and cook in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes or till 12 whistles
Heat a pan over medium high and add oil. Add chopped ginger and garlic saute for two minutes.
Add onions and green chillies and cook until they begin to brown.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, chopped tomatoes and rajma masala powder/ Chicken masala powder.
Cook until the masala separates from the oil
Now, add the boiled rajma and mix it thoroughly. Cook until a thick gravy is formed.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
