A quick and delicious breakfast recipe, loved by kids as well as elders. A perfect breakfast recipe for working people. Can also be a ideal tiffin recipe!

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4 persons


Bread: 8 slices (You can use both Brown or White bread).
Rawa/ Suji: 7 tablespoon
Yogurt/ Dahi: 2 tablespoon
Milk/ Water as required to make a thick batter
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon Cumin/ Jeera Powder
1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1 teaspoon chopped green chilli
2 teaspoon chopped Curry Leaves
1 medium sized onion chopped.
1 medium sized tomato chopped.
Refined/ Olive Oil to toast.


In a Bowl, mix in the Rawa/ Suji with Yogurt, spice powders, salt, tomatoes, onion, green chilli, curry leaves. Now make a thick batter using milk or water as desired or you can use both. Leave it aside for 5 minutes. Till then heat in Tawa or frying Pan and add some oil to toast the bread. Now take a slice of bread and spoon one tablespoon on batter on one side. Now put the batter size of the Tawa or frying pan and let it cook for 2 minutes. You will notice that the bread coating will be golden brown. Now flip the Bread slice and let in toast on the other side for a minute. You can add some oil if required.

Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
