This is a perfect healthy tea time snack recipe and also rocks as a starter. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients :
Green Moong Dal : 1/2 cup soaked in water for minimum 6 hours or overnight
Onion: 1 cup sliced
Green Chilli : 1 tablespoon chopped
Coriander leaves : 2 tablespoon chopped
Ginger Garlic paste : 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Refined oil for frying
Water as required

Method :
Wash the soaked green moong Dal and blend in a grinder to form a coarse paste adding a little water. Now empty the paste in a bowl and add the ginger garlic paste, Chilli, onion, Coriander and mix well. Now take a spoonful of the mixture in your hand and give it your desired shape or you can directly add the spoonful to the hot oil and let it take its own shape. Fry until golden brown. Drain excess oil in a kitchen towel and serve hot with Coriander or tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
