Ingredients :
Rohu/ king Fish : 4-6 pieces
Curry leaves: washed and grinded with a little water, 1 small bowl
Boiled Potatoes : 2 small
Onion : 2 tablespoon chopped
Garlic : 2 teaspoon chopped
Green Chilli : 2 slitted
Turmeric / Haldi powder : 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala : 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera/ Cumin powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard oil for frying
Salt as per taste
Water as required for gravy

Method : Marinate the fish with salt and Turmeric powder and deep fry. Remove from heat and keep aside once the fish pieces are golden brown. Now in another pan or kadhai heat oil and add the garlic and onion. Add a pinch of Turmeric powder and fry till the onion becomes translucent. Now add the potatoes and mash into smaller pieces. Add the Cumin and Garam Masala powder and fry till the potatoes turn brown. Add the curry leaves paste and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the Chilli and water as desired for the gravy as per the consistency required. Now add the fish pieces and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve hot with steamed rice.
