This Fried chicken recipe will be a real hit as starters or snack among guests. Try it out and find out for yourself.

Preparation Time : 30 minutes
Marination Time : 3 hours
Serves : 5-6 persons

Ingredients :
Chicken pieces: 500 grams
Garlic paste : 1 tablespoon
Chilli paste : 1 teaspoon
Soya sauce : 1 tablespoon
White vinegar: 2 tablespoons
White pepper powder: 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Olive / refined oil for deep frying
Eggs : 2
Maida/ Refined flour : 1/2 cup
Cornflour : 2 teaspoon
Rolled Oats : 1 cup
Red Chilli paste : 1 teaspoon

Method :
In a bowl take the chicken pieces and add fresh garlic paste, chilli paste, soya sauce, vinegar, white pepper powder and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for two to three hours in the refrigerator or simply in a cool place.
In another bowl mix maida, cornflour and oats. Add salt and white pepper powder and keep aside.
In a different bowl add eggs, salt, around 5 tablespoon oil, red chilli paste and beat throughly.
For deep frying heat oil in a pan. First dip the marinated Chicken in the egg batter and then coat with the oats mixture and fry for around 5 minutes on medium heat, Fry until crisp and golden brown, drain excess oil and serve hot with onions, a slice of lemon and ketchup or your favorite sauce.
