Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Serves : 4-6 persons
Butter : 6 tablespoons melted
Cocoa powder : 4 tablespoons
Eggs : 2 large or 3 small
Sugar : 4 tablespoons powdered
Refined flour /Maida : 1/2 cup
Baking powder : 1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence : 1 teaspoon
Chocolate chips : 1/2 cup
Chopped nuts (optional) : 1/2 cup
Sieve the cocoa, sugar, flour and baking powder in to a bowl.
In another bowl, add the eggs and beat them. Then add the melted butter and whisk until light and foamy. You can manually beat with hand or use a electric beater. Now add the vanilla essence to this mixture.
Now slowly add the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and fold in a clockwise direction till the consistency becomes that of a batter. Now add in the choclate chips and chopped nuts (optional). Mix well.
Use a microwave safe cake tin and grease it with a little oil or butter. Now dust the tin with a little refined flour. Slowly pour the brownie batter into the tin and smooth out with the spatula.
Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes and check with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean then the Brownie is ready other microwave on HIGH for another 1 minute.
Cut the Brownie into the desired pieces and serve warm with hot chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Your sizzling hot Brownie is ready.
