This is a classic recipe with a flavouring of vanilla and cinnamon which elevates the taste and makes it more delicious. Perfect for breakfast or can be served as a tea time snack. Can also be packed in your kids tiffin box.

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Serves: 4-6 persons

Ingredients :
Egg : 2
Vanilla essence : 1 teaspoon
Dalchini / Cinnamon powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Milk : 1/2
White bread / Loaf : 8 slices
Sugar : 2 tablespoon
Salt a pinch
Refined oil as required for shallow or deep frying

* Fresh Loaf from local bakery makes the toasts more tastier.

Method :

In a bowl beat the eggs with milk, sugar and salt for 2 minutes. Now add the vanilla essence and cinnamon powder. Beat again. Cut the loaf or bread to your desired shape like square, Triangle or circle. You can discard the sides if you want.  Heat enough oil in a pan for deep or shallow frying. Dip the bread in the egg mixture till it coats both sides and fry till golden brown.

Serve hot with honey or maple syrup.
