Serves : 2-3 persons

Ingredients :

Refined flour / Maida : 2 cups
Baking powder : ½ tbsp
Lukewarm Water to make the dough
Salt as per taste
Refined Oil : 2 tablespoons
Fresh Green peas :  1½ cups
Green chillies : 2 chopped
Red chilli powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee : 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice : 3 tablespoons
Refined oil for deep frying

Method :

Make a Roti/ Chapati /Poori/ Puri Gough by mixing the maida, baking powder, refined oil, salt and little lukewarm water in a bowl. Knead the dough so that it becomes soft.
Now grind the green peas and green chillies in a mixer. Heat a pan and add the ghee. As the ghee becomes hot, add the mixed green peas and green chillies, red chilli powder, lemon juice and salt into the pan. Saute it mixing all ingredients together.

Now, roll the dough into small balls and make it into circle Poori/ puri. Stuff the mixture into the Poori, close from all sides, make a ball and roll out again. Dust with a little flour while rolling of required. Deep fry it in hot Refined oil. Serve hot with sabzi, curry, pickle or raita.
