Preparation Time : 1 hour
Serves : 6-8 persons

Ingredients :

Milk : 1 litre
Malai/ Milk fat / Khoya : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 2 tablespoons
Cardamom/ Elaichi powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Almonds : 1 tablespoon finely sliced  Pistachios : 1 tablespoon finely sliced
Silver or golden leaf / varak for garnish.

Method : 
In a deep bottom pan, add the milk and let it boil. Now condense the milk by adding the malai / milk fat / khoya and constantly boiling and stirring. It will take around 45 minutes for the milk to reduce and become thick. Once the milk thickens, add the sugar and Cardamom powder and mix well. Garnish with the almonds, silver or golden leaf and pistachios.

Your Rabri is ready. It tastes best when served chilled.
