Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 6-8 persons
Sooji / Rawa / Suji /Semolina : 1 cup Desi Ghee : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 1/2 cup
Cardamom / Elaichi powder : 1/4 cup
Water : 1/2 cup
Milk : 1 cup
Raisin : 1 tablespoon
Cashew : 1 tablespoon
Almond : 1 tablespoon
In a pan, boil the water and milk together and keep it aside. It should be hot while adding it to the suji.
In a pan heat the ghee, add the suji and roast to golden brown color sautéing it constantly this will take about 5 to 8 minutes. Now add the sugar and sauté continuously till the sugar melts.
Now slowly add the milk and water mixture while stirring constantly. Be careful as the hot water may splatter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes till the suji becomes thick.
Add the Raisins and Cashews and mix well.
Garnish with almonds and serve.
