For all cheese lovers, a cheese cake is the perfect dessert to dig on to lure your sweet tooth. This recipe is quick and easy and can be made an hour before your guests turns up!
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 4-6 persons
Cream cheese : 200 grams
Digestive biscuits : 200 grams
Sugar : 200 grams
Vanilla essence : 1 tablespoon
Butter : 100 grams
Full fat cream : 400 ml
In a bowl, crumble the digestive biscuits and add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon sugar. Mix well while crushing the biscuits.
Now grease a cake tin, glass dish, individual serving glasses and make a half inch layer of the biscuit crumbles.
In another bowl, add the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla essence and mix well. In a separate bowl gently whip the cream with an electric beater. Now slowly fold in the cream into the cream cheese mixture. Now layer the cake tin with this mixture and smoothen the top.
Refrigerate for minimum 1 hour. Remove from mould, cut into slices and serve chilled.
