Serves : 4-6 persons
Curry leaves : 20-25
Onion : 2 large sliced
Tomato : 4 large roughly chopped
Mustard seeds : 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard oil : 4 tablespoons
Turmeric / Haldi powder : 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Green Chili : 2 chopped
Dried red chili : 4 (soaked in water)
Sugar : 1 teaspoon
Heat oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds, Curry leaves and let it splutter. Add in the Turmeric, sugar, salt, onion, chilies and tomatoes. Cook till the oil separates at the sides of the pan.
Now, transfer the mixture into a grinder and grind into a smooth paste. The tomato chutney is ready to be served.
