When there are more guests and less time to devote for your dessert than this banana Toffee Pie is a savior. All you need to do is keep the ingredients ready before hand and just assemble the dessert. Well it tastes delicious and mind you your guests will keep asking you for more!!
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 6-8 persons
Banana : 2 big (diced)
Condensed Milk : 1 tin
Digestive Biscuits : 1 packet
Butter : 50 grams
Full fat cream : 1 cup
Dark Chocolate : 1 cup grated
Boil water in a deep bottom pan and immerse the Condensed Milk tin. Let it boil at medium heat for about 2 hours. Now open the tin, the Condensed Milk has solidified and the color is beautiful golden brown. Your Toffee is ready.
Churn the butter and digestive biscuits in a mixer grinder or crumble with your hands.
Now take a medium serving dish preferably glass and make a base layer with the biscuit crumble. Also layer the sides of the dish. Refrigerate the dish for half an hour so that the base layer sets nicely.
Whip the full fat cream till fluffy and keep aside.
Now bring out the set dish and put in the diced bananas layer. Layer it with the Toffee mixture. Now make a layer of the whipped cream. Level it with a spatula. Now garnish it with grated dark chocolate.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Dig in a butter knife and cut into layered slices and serve.
