One of the most easy and yummy snacking recipe for winter evenings, whether you are reading your favorite book or sitting by the fire, onion rings are the ultimate munchies.

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 4-6 persons

Ingredients :
Onion : 4-5 large
Pepper powder : 1 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Egg : 1
Refined flour / Maida : 1 cup
Baking powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Suji / rava / Semolina : 1 tablespoon
Mixed herbs : 1/2 teaspoon
Refined oil for shallow or deep frying

Method :

Cut onions and separate the Rings. Put the Rings in a bowl and add salt and pepper powder. Add the egg and mix well with hand.

In a plate, Sieve the flour and baking powder. Season with salt, mixed herbs and pepper. Add the semolina and mix well with hand.

Heat oil in a pan for frying. Coat the onion rings in the dry flour mixture and shallow or deep fry until golden brown.

Serve hot with ketchup or chili mayo dip.
