A healthy, mouth watering and unusual starter or dessert for your guests. You can use your favorite seasonal fruits to add a punch.
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 4-6 persons
Pineapple : 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
Orange : 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
Kiwi : 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
Strawberry : 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
Mango : 1/2 cup (cut into cubes)
* You can also use grapes, melon or your favorite fruits.
Honey : 5 tablespoons
Lemon juice : 5 tablespoons
Chilli flakes : 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder : 1 teaspoon (roughly grounded)
Butter : 2 tablespoons
Mint : 1 tablespoon chopped
Take the fruits in a bowl. In another bowl, make a marination using the honey, lemon juice, chili flakes, pepper and butter. Now mix in the fruits and leave it aside for 10 minutes.
Now use aluminum or wooden skewers and arrange the fruit sticks. Grill for 3 minutes on each side in a grill pan over gas or in a electric or coal barbecue rack.
Garnish with chopped fresh mint and the left marination. Serve warm. Enjoy these healthy and fruity sticks!!
