Mint & lemon cooler

Rather than serving your guests with just cola or lemon juice, treat them with this super hit quick mint and lemon cooler Mocktail. Try it out!! #Sprite #MountainDew

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Serves : 3-4 persons

Ingredients :
Yellow Lime : 2
Soda : 250ml
Sprite / Mountain Dew : 500ml
Mint leaves : 1/2 cup
Black salt : 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar : 1/2 teaspoon

Method :

Cut the lime into small wedges. Discard seeds if any.

In a motor and pestle, press the mint leaves and lime pieces. Add the salt, sugar and press roughly so that the juices of mint and lime are released. The lemon pieces should not be pressed too much otherwise the bitter taste of the rind will spoil the taste of the drink. Do not discard the lemon pieces.

Now in a Mocktail shaker or a 1 litre bottle, add the pressed lime and mint leaves, slowly pour in the chilled soda and chilled sprite or mountain dew. Shake properly and serve immediately in individual glasses. No need to strain the lemon pieces and mint leaves. Just garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of lime. Tastes best when served chilled.
